Horns On The Foot: How To Relieve Them Naturally?

What is a horn?

The horn is a reaction of the skin, at the feet,due to pressure and friction between the bone on one side and the shoes, too narrow, too tight or even with heels too high, on the other side. Result?

Natural solutions to relieve horns

To do this, you can start with a foot bath in hot water and a little salt, in order to soften the horn. Other natural tricks will help alleviate the foot pain.


White vinegar

White vinegar is an excellent remedy for relieving corns in the foot. Indeed, its acidity will help to soften the skin. In addition, thanks to its fungicide and antibacterial virtues,it reduces the risk of infection.

To make the most of its power, the ideal is to apply it in cataplasm: you have a piece of bread crumbs previously soaked in vinegar for 30 minutes and you place it on the horn for a few minutes.

Green clay

An effective painkiller, green clay is a formidable weapon for relieving inflammation. It is applied as a cataplasm to soften the callosity and repair the skin. To do this, place a tablespoon of green clay in a bowl and add water to create a paste that is left to rest for 4 hours.

Then, with the help of a spatula, the mixture is spread on the horn that is surrounded by food film, as a bandage. For more results, the ideal is to let it act all night.

Aspirin

Another simple, economical and effective remedy is aspirin. Two tablets can then be powdered into a tablespoon of sweet almond or calendula vegetable oil and massage the painful area for a few minutes.

Once the massage is given, the same mixture is placed on the horn and rolled with stretch film. After a few minutes, we just rinse it all out.
